Driving Directions:
Grants Pass (Exits 55 & 58) is located about 25 miles north of Medford on Interstate 5. Merlin (Exit 61) is located 3 miles north of Grants Pass.

From the South:
Take Exit 61. At the stop sign at the bottom of the off-ramp, turn left on Merlin-Galice Road and go under Interstate 5.

From the North:
Take Exit 61. Bear right on the off-ramp, toward the traffic light. Turn left onto Merlin-Galice Road.

Continue on Merlin-Galice Road for 2.8 miles (over the railroad track crossing). Keep going through the little town of Merlin for another 1.5 miles. Life of Learning is on the left, just past Robertson Bridge Road.


Arriving by Air

 

 

Horizon (Alaska Airlines), United, Delta, and America West fly to Medford's Rogue Valley International Airport, 32 miles east of Merlin.

You will connect through Portland, Oregon; Seattle, Washington; Los Angeles, California; or San Francisco, California; Phoenix, Arizona; or Denver, Colorado.

BEWARE: Cab fares from Rogue Valley International Airport to Grants Pass (3 miles south of Merlin) run $70 - $80 one way.

Campgrounds

 

 

Indian Mary Park
Located north of Merlin, Indian Mary Park is the smallest Indian reservation ever created. It is now a beautiful county park set on the Rogue River. Camping space is available for RVs and tents. Note: This is the closest campground to Life of Learning

Whitehorse Park
This is a large park with 44 campsites (8 with full hookups), showers, a boat ramp, bird sanctuary, playground, and hiking trails. Take "G" Street west from Grants Pass for 1/2 mile, then follow Upper River Road another 6.1 miles to the park.
