Hello,
My name is Tim Weichman and I'm the webmaster for guyfinley.com.
I
definitely understand your concern about online ordering. However, you
can rest assured knowing all orders placed on our site use a secured
connection to transmit credit card and personal information. Our shopping
cart is hosted on the Yahoo Network. It's one of the most secure and
reliable shopping carts available.
But how can you know for sure?
When you get to an order page asking for shipping or
billing information, there are several ways to verify the page is secured:
1. Check for the security icon in your Web browser's
status bar.
Look at the bottom of your web browser window. On some
Web browsers you should see a picture of a lock or a set of connected
chain links anytime you're viewing a secured Web page. Here's an example:

2. Check the page properties for indications of a secured
connection.
If you don't see the lock or chain icon, try right-clicking
on a blank part of the page (Mac users will <control>-click). A
pop-up menu should appear. Select "Properties". One of the properties
shows the type of connection. It will read something like this:
TLS 1.0, RC4 with 128 bit encryption (High); RSA with 1024 bit exchange
A description that includes the terms 'SSL' or '128 bit
encryption' tells you the page is handled on a secured connection.
3. Check the first part of the Web page address
The addresses for most Web pages on the Internet begin
with "http://", like our home page, "http://www.guyfinley.com."
But secured Web pages usually begin with "https://" - where
the "s" stands for "secured". When you choose to checkout
from our store and are prompted for personal information, if you click
in the address bar of your Web browser and scroll all the way to the beginning
of the Web address, you'll see that it starts with "https://".
Here's an example:

I hope this gives you the reassurance you need to place
your order. If not, we're happy to take your order by phone. Our number
is 541-476-1200. Or you can email us a preferred time to reach you and
we'll call you back. And if these options don't work, you can send your
order by mail or fax using our printable
order form.
Please feel free to contact me
directly if you have other questions or concerns.
Kind regards,

Tim Weichman
